After moving to Dallas and getting engaged, Monica and Jose decided that they didn’t want to wait until they could have their big wedding in Mexico in 2022. They wanted to married as soon as possible! So their families flew in for a sweet Courthouse ceremony, followed by a fancy dinner and portraits in this gem of a park, right in the middle of downtown.

Oh, and did I mention that it was the first time I’ve eaten inside of a restaurant since February 2020 and I for sure cried just a few tears over that? Because I did. And then I enjoyed the heck out of myself and marveled at how spectacular the whole evening was.

The stakes feel high and, ultimately, you have very little control over how these tiny humans choose to behave for the next 20-45 minutes. But I’m here to tell you - I don't want you to stress. I don’t want you to worry about your kids being perfect. Because, well, they aren’t perfect!
They are funny and wild and shy and weird and loud and quiet and they are perfect. And I want to show them off exactly as they are!
