It was the most perfect micro-wedding. Perfect weather even though it was December. The most beautiful Bride. The sweetest Groom. The cutest kids stealing berries off the wedding cake. An INSANELY delicious dinner while the Groom played DJ. A surprise custom bobble head cake topper. Oh, and did I mention that it was the first time I’ve eaten inside of a restaurant since February 2020 and I for sure cried just a few tears over that? Because I did. And then I enjoyed the heck out of myself and marveled at how spectacular the whole evening was.

Fall Family Sessions

Family Sessions. Is there anything more stressful than putting your kids in clothes they can’t get dirty and trying to bribe them to smile for a camera? I GET it. The stakes feel high and, ultimately, you have very little control over how these tiny humans choose to behave for the next 20-45 minutes. But I’m here to tell you - I don't want you to stress. I don’t want you to worry about your kids being perfect. Because, well, they aren’t perfect!

They are funny and wild and shy and weird and loud and quiet and they are perfect. And I want to show them off exactly as they are!

Bridal sessions are so life giving! ESPECIALLY this one because I was coming off of maternity leave when I did this shoot at The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas. I was nerrrrvou with a capital RRRR. But when I walked into the ballroom and saw the way the light and shadows played together by the huge windows, all of my nerves were replaced with excitement.
