Bridal sessions are so life giving! ESPECIALLY this one because I was coming off of maternity leave when I did this shoot at The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas. I was nerrrrvou with a capital RRRR. But when I walked into the ballroom and saw the way the light and shadows played together by the huge windows, all of my nerves were replaced with excitement.

It is an hour dedicated solely to being creative with photos of the Bride. Of COURSE there are logistical reasons why I love Bridal Sessions (like getting to see how your hair/makeup look in photos so you can make necessary adjustments for the wedding) but, mostly, I adore getting to slow down the process of taking portraits
