Marina+Kent - Dallas, TX
Shooting outside in August in Dallas means one of two things - shooting in the evening and my clients turning into a sweaty hot mess within minutes OR waking up before the sun to shoot at sunrise and them turning into a sweaty hot mess after like…oh, an hour(ish).
I’m SO glad that Marina and Kent decided to start with the morning sun. Mostly because I’ve been DYING to shoot at this apartment building (on the street where I used to live) in the morning when it is shaded. When Marina asked for cacti and agreed to meet up before 7am, I felt like I could explode with excitement!
From there, everything flowed perfectly. The color palettes (when Ben saw Kent’s first outfit, he said, “Oh, that’s a good shirt.” I agree, Ben Crenshaw.). The mix of goofy/joyfulness and natural smolders. I love everything about this session! I also love that I’m behind the camera so it doesn’t matter that I get hot when I work and was thoroughly drenched and disheveled very early into our shoot. Doesn’t matter because these wonderful humans look dang fresh and in love.
