The Soldatchenkos - Dallas, TX
Gosh, intimate weddings have a special place in my heart and it doesn’t get much more intimate than this one. Ellen and Alex didn’t want all the fluff - they just wanted to be married. Surrounded by 17 members of their family, they did just that.
The couple started their wedding day by getting ready together with Ellen wearing a (stunning) dress that she specifically picked so that she could have it shortened into a cocktail dress afterwards. At 9am, they arrived at the Arboretum to do portraits alone while their families mingled and chatted in the rose garden. There was no grand entrance to mark the start of the ceremony, just Alex and Ellen looking at each other and saying that they were ready. After the brief ceremony, we knocked out a few family photos before sending everyone on their way for brunch downtown. In and out in under two hours. But two lives totally changed.
